Our mission
Hopper aims to eliminate financial, technical, and psychological barriers to sports participation for people with leg amputations worldwide.
Our vision
Sport : a driver of rebuilding and a catalyst for inclusion
At Hopper, we firmly believe that access to sport is a fundamental catalyst in the rehabilitation journey for amputees. More than just physical activity, sport is a source of well-being, pride, and empowerment.
Because it has the power to change lives, we are committed to making it accessible to everyone.
To ensure these benefits reach all, we design simple, high-performance, and inclusive sports solutions—crafted to address the social, economic, and environmental challenges of our time.
Our optimism is rooted in collective intelligence: we believe that connecting expertise, users, and partners will help remove every barrier to participation.
By combining design, performance, and accessibility, we contribute to sustainably transforming the role of sport in society for people with disabilities.
Collaborative and committed innovation, with strong social impact and minimal environmental footprint: this is the core vision of Hopper.
Our values
People First : Putting users’ needs at the heart of our work — customer-centric.
The Right to Dare : Everyone deserves the chance to try, test, and improve.
Boldness and Positivity : We believe in human kindness, the energy of a committed community, and the power of sport to change lives. Every individual’s actions can make a difference and bring positivity to the world.
Accessibility and Inclusivity : We fight to make simple solutions available to all, without distinction.
Innovation : We design high-performance, accessible solutions that directly address needs—without compromising on quality, while minimizing our environmental impact.
What does it mean to be a Hopper?
Every morning, we rise with the same guiding principles: humanity, accessibility, sustainability.

Our story

This is the year of Hopper products’ international launch.

A collaboration agreement was signed with Proteor, a major player in orthopedics, becoming a strategic partner for Hopper to strengthen the project’s impact.

The second blade, The Intrépide, smaller than the first, is certified and available for sale throughout the European Union!

The first blade, named The Audacieuse, is officially certified and available for sale throughout the European Union!

To finance the start of production, we called on all of you. Thanks to the 370 contributors who believed in us!

Through this experience, we proved that anything is possible! Five people equipped with blades reached a summit at 3,000 meters in the Alps.

The student project evolved and became the start-up Hopper!

After a year of work in our spare time, about ten people tried our blades. A real success!

By repurposing carbon fibers destined for disposal, we produced the first two functional sport blades.

The project began at the engineering school IMT Mines Albi in collaboration with Airbus. Our goal: to make sport accessible to amputees.
